2nd Bordatella (Kennel Cough Vaccine)
 1 year Rabies Vaccine
 Fecal Exam for Intestinal Parasites

Distemper - Parvo Combination Vaccine or 5-in-1: Parvo virus is prevalent in
Spokane all year long. It is a deadly gastrointestinal virus that attacks the small intestines and
scars them to the point where the puppy can no longer absorb nutrients or water. If left untreated
they can subsequently die from dehydration and malnutrion. The virus is shed through infected
dogs’ feces (usually a watery diarrhea) and the virus particles can live for years in the
environment. People can carry the virus around on their shoes or hands and unknowingly infect
their own puppy.
Know the Symptoms: Vomiting, Diarrhea, Lethargy, Fever
Booster until 4 months old! In order to be effect, the DHPPC vaccine must be boostered every
3-4 weeks until the puppy is 16 weeks old (4 months)

Deworming: The Center for Disease Control recommends at least 4 dewormings for all
puppies and kittens. This is very important to complete, since some parasites may be transmitted
to people (children are especially susceptible) and can cause serious medical problems.
