2 days old, first big inventory and single shots

Although we usually do our first big inventory once the puppies are 3 days old, I decided to do it today instead, since I have enough time on hand. We have 5 boys and 6 girls in various colors. Though we already did an assessment on their colors and markings, we need to give it another 10 days to accurately determine them. A Whippet's coat needs oxygen and sunlight in order to develop it's true color. However, I had the chance to take a closer look at their pigmentation, and we have a lot of puppies with the "blue" gene, giving us a dilution of 10% - 100%. 

Not every puppy was in the mood of a photo shoot today. As young as they are, they are super fast and escape quicker than my camera could possibly adjust the focus :) Please be patient as I am trying to provide you with many more picture over the next few weeks!

Note: Our puppies are a part of our family, which is why we always give them names! Their names are temporary and in no way associated with their AKC registration. Of course you can change your puppies name! To accommodate the amount of puppies of this litter, I chose "18th and 19th century famous writers" as their names.
